Before you start.
Which tool do I need?
Choose LaserDither to prepare photos and raster graphics for laser engraving. Choose PRINTCHECK to inspect artwork for DTF printing. The online checker is the quickest way to start with PRINTCHECK.
What is free?
PRINTCHECK is free. LaserDither includes free single-image preparation and 1-bit export. We currently provide annual PRO licenses free of charge until customer feedback confirms correct operation. Contact us to request one. Donations are voluntary and do not activate PRO.
Does LaserDither replace LightBurn or control a laser?
No. It prepares raster images for import into your engraving software, such as LightBurn, LaserBurn or LaserGRBL. Check the imported physical size and raster settings before running a job.
Are my images uploaded?
Image analysis and preparation are local, both in the PRINTCHECK browser checker and in the desktop apps. Opening a Microsoft Store link takes you to Microsoft’s website. See the separate privacy pages below.
Will a good file guarantee a good print or engraving?
No. The final result also depends on the material, machine, consumables and settings. Use the checks to understand the file, then test with your actual production setup.
